It was the show that you wanted all of your Year 10 parties to replicate, but back for a 6th series I cant help but wonder: Is Skins still cool?
The brand new series started on E4 last week, and saw Mini, Grace, Rich, Alo and the rest of the gang jet off on holiday to Morocco (the cheap holiday destination where all college students head to). Despite the destination being some what far fetched, the first episode saw all the usual drug taking, drinking and unlikely sexual encounters. However it also saw things take a sinister turn as Franky latched onto and found solace in a creepy new character.
The episode ended with an incredible twist and demonstrated a shocking stunt that must have taken weeks of preparation.
So. Although I was hooked after episode one and eagerly awaiting number two, I am still wondering if it's acceptable for an 18 year old to love it, or if it's one of those things that you can only watch in Year 10 in the hope that your parties will one day live up to those in the show.
Either way, I love it. And tonight's episode did not let me down. A total tear jerker that left me crying for more. Finally, something to look forward to on Monday's!
